A stay of a past character and the pride of the present.


Aldar Inn consists of several old houses that are a few hundreds of years old, that have been renovated to accommodate guests and give them a unique experience of living in heritage houses with some modern touches.


Al Dar Inn Compnents:

The first building is called Dar Hilal which is named after Hilal bin Mohammed Al Shariyani, who was the first owner of the building. It consisted of a flat with three rooms and a living room, and another six separate rooms, a library and a rooftop with a view of Nizwa fort, Niz café, and the farms on one side, and on the inn’s garden and swimming pool on the other side.


The second is called Al Dakhtar, which is an old building made from mud that was called Thomas’s clinic after Dr. Thomas who visited Nizwa and treated people in it. It was a clinic to treat citizens in the era of Imam Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalili (More on this in Al Dakhtar’s introductory booklet).


The third is called (to be named later), which is a building made from cement consisting of eight rooms, it was renovated in heritage pattern with some modern touches. It also has a rooftop with a view of the fort and the fort’s garden on one side, and on the inn’s garden on the other.


The fourth is the management building.
